There, I said it. I feel like apologizing, as if it is a topic of conversation we’ve agreed not to bring up in polite company. But that’s the arrogance of believing we’re all on the same page, and false hope that every reader is also bowled over by the fact that it is not going to be OK.
Shock, devastation, confusion, anger, resolve – these are the emotions my bewildered brain expects to see in every face around me based on what we know is happening to our planet at this very moment.
